Sharon Blaes is the Volunteer in the Spotlight for the month of July. Sharon Blaes is a Montgomery County 4-H alumni, supporter, mom, and volunteer. Sharon was raised in Montgomery County 4-H and her family continues to be dedicated supporters of the program. Sharon went on to become a club leader for Happy Hustlers 4-H Club raising her two kids, Shane and Shannon, in the 4-H program. 4-H is a family affair for the Blaes family. You’ll often find the whole family cooking for the Cherryvale Youth fair and volunteering in other roles like the shooting sports program. Sharon’s husband, Wayne, is a shotgun instructor and Sharon is the co-coordinator for Montgomery County. We appreciate the countless hours they spend working with our youth and teaching lifelong skills!
We appreciate Sharon and her entire family for all they do for the 4-H program. We strive to teach our youth to get involved in their communities to make it a better place and the Bales family does a wonderful job of setting a good example!
