une signals an extremely busy time for the district. While agents are preparing for camps, fairs, interdisciplinary programs, and international judging contests, I have been swarmed with administrative issues, budgets, expansion of the district into Wilson County, and community development inquiries. Unfortunately, many of the items I work are behind-the-scenes activities that are not made for publication. However, one item that need to be publicized is the addition of our intern for the summer, Madison Blevins.

Madison has been working on a variety of projects this summer, and has literally been all across the district. She is becoming a familiar face to many as she has assisted laying out agricultural research plots, participated in radio morning shows, assisted with administrative duties, improved our website, assisted with sewing and 4-H camps, added spice to our Cooking with Kids, and more! Madison has been a wonderful addition to our staff this summer, and we are going to be sad to see her go!

See photo gallery below to see the many projects she has been involved with so far this summer!
