e have started to plan for the camps that will be taking place this summer. Rock Springs staff attended the Sunny Hills Camp meeting to share new opportunities for our youth and advise the group of changes that will be happening. Sunny Hills Camp will be June 3-6.
Greenbush Camp for our 7-8 year olds will be held June 7-8. This is an overnight camp for those first time campers.
Sewing Camp will be June 11-15 in Altamont.
I have been working with Jeri to have some wildlife sessions and there are nine youth that are interested in participating so I am excited about that! These sessions will start at the end of January.

The Let’s Play Leadership session this month focused on Problem Solving. This is my favorite session with the kids. Sometimes we get so focused on a problem we can’t see a solution. Stepping back and looking at a bigger picture or talking to a friend/co-worker or someone else could help give you a different perspective. Utilizing these resources can help us solve some problems quicker than trying to do it ourselves. We do a pattern game and the kids really get into it by the time I have to leave so they are trying to give all kinds of answers to make sure they have it figured out.
