Wildcat Connection August 2019 | Page 3

David and DeRhonda Newby are the Volunteers in the Spotlight for the month of July. David and DeRhonda consistently volunteer in the K-State Research and Extension, Wildcat District. They serve as 4-H Club Leaders for the Midwest Ranchers. David also serves as a Fair Board Member for the Labette County Fair, while DeRhonda serves as the Sheep Superintendent for the fair.

Within the Wildcat Extension District, David has positively impacted 4-H youth experiences at the Labette County Fair by donating his time and veterinary services for the livestock check-in at the fair. In addition, David and DeRhonda are always more than willing to help 4-H members around the fair whenever needed. As volunteers, David and Dehronda’s success and positive attitude sets a great example for our 4-H youth to follow!

We thank David and DeRhonda for their dedication

to K-State Research and Extension!
