Congratulations to WildBlue Amenities members on the successful transition toward an allmember representative board . Our appreciation goes to all the candidates who were willing to devote their time to the board of directors of WildBlue Amenities . Being part of a master-planned community during its early stages is an exciting opportunity that provides an exceptional view of the transition process as the community ' s control shifts from the developer to the homeowners .
The transition process is a series of events that take place over several months , rather than a single event such as the election of board members . During the transition period , the developer cedes control of the Amenities Association to the members . After this phase , the member-elected board of directors , with the help of the management team , assumes responsibility for managing and maintaining assets . A seamless transition is critical to ensure the smooth operation of the Amenities Association .
As we warmly welcome the new board members , it ' s crucial to remember that the Amenities Board makes decisions , and the management team acts on those decisions . The General Manager and / or the property manager should be the first point of contact for complaints or urgent time-sensitive issues . The management team is responsible for overseeing the day-today operations of the community , such as building maintenance , administration , and finances , under the board of directors ' direction .
Homeowners should consider that during emergencies , property maintenance issues , or any suggestions , contacting board members may not be the most efficient method . Please keep in mind that board members are homeowners themselves .
