With more hunters pursuing these wild canines to help keep the predator and prey populations in check , coyotes have caught onto standard setups including electronic and artificial calls . Now don ’ t get me wrong , coyotes are still being called into a hunter ’ s set up consistently , but they are becoming more educated to a coyote hunter ’ s standard calls and setups , therefore , coyote hunters have to think outside of the box to pursue call-shy coyotes .
