. Summer 2017
Wes spends a minimum of 125 days
on the water each year fishing, filming,
doing photo shoots, researching
information for magazines and
conservation efforts, and competing
in walleye tournaments in Alberta,
Saskatchewan and the U.S. Each
year Wes puts on thousands of
kilometers traveling to fishing
tournaments,
charity
events,
seminars, and speaking to youth
organizations throughout Canada
and the U.S. During 2015, Wes fished
in most of the Canadian provinces
and some U.S. states including the
Hawaiian Islands for a variety of
saltwater fish. He’s currently a pro
staff member and sponsored by
Bass Pro Shops, Tracker Boats, Len
Thompson Lures, & Lyman Lures.
In 2009, he founded the Airdrie
Hunting & Fishing Association which
has become the fastest growing
hunting & fishing club/association in
the western provinces.
Jason Dyck
Jason has been a big game
hunting guide for the past 26 years.
Everything from backpack sheep
and goats to prairie whitetail and
mule deer to horseback grizzly
and moose hunts and everything in
between. Guiding has not been his
only career in the outdoor world.
He’s also an outfitter, taxidermist,
hunting consultant and outdoor
writer. Jason has hunted from
Kyrgyzstan to new Zealand and
all over north America. Hes has
enjoyed helping hundreds of clients
and friends fulfill their dream hunts.
Terry Grant
The star of the first six seasons
of Mantracker showcased his gift
to millions, bringing the spotlight
to bear on the almost-lost art of
tracking, and launching the show
into the stratosphere as one of the
most highly rated reality shows on
television.
Fuelled by necessity, his renowned
skill was honed by trailing and
gathering cattle on some of the most
remote ranches in southern Alberta,
complimenting his many years as a
guide and outfitter in the unforgiving
Rocky Mountains. His ability to read
sign became a keen interest and he
constantly studied in the wilderness,
developing and refining his skill to a
now legendary level.
Whether in the saddle or on the
stage, Grant’s reputation is on the
line and as he says, “I can’t afford to
let up for a second, and I won’t.”
Carolyn Kosheluk
Carolyn Kosheluk is an avid angler,
on pro staff with Alumacraft Boats,
Guertin Equipment and Rapala, and
was named national pro staff of the
Year by Rapala in 2014. She’s also
a fishing tournament competitor
and founding committee member
of the Central Walleye Trail. When
she’s not on the water, she enjoys
big game hunting and travel hunts,
volunteering to teach outdoor
skills to women, and spending her
days working at Ducks Unlimited
Canada.
Jeff Schlachter
Jeff’s hunting excursions have
taken him on many amazing
hunting adventures and he has
taken many incredible trophies
qualifying for the B&C, P&Y, SCI
and Longhunter’s Record Books.
He is a professional hunter and
angler, member of Outdoor Writers
of Canada and is driven by a fierce
passion that has flowed through
Jeff’s veins since he was a small
child. In Jeff’s mind, hunting isn’t
just a past-time, it truly is Jeff’s way
of life. Jeff is dedicated to sharing
his wealth of knowledge with
others, helping them learn more
about experiencing the outdoors
and what it truly has to offer.
