WIESD Concept
WIESD concept is structured in 3 modules, using a Spiral-up Concept, where each activity builds
upon the previous one:
Module 1 – INFORMATION: participants receive all the information
needed to shape or re-shape their business idea(s).
Module 2 – APPLICATION: having built an appropriate set of
principles, tools and concepts, they develop projects, based on the
application of their learning and insights to develop innovative
business ideas.
Module 3 - IMPLEMENTATION: they have access to ‘hands-on’
information (like capital access, possible types of company
constitution, etc.) to create/grow a realistic and viable business
plan that must be ready for implementation at the end of the
program.
Leadership Thread - Throughout the program, they
experience a parallel journey supporting them to connect the "head and the heart" of leadership,
business and personal-professional development in a way that ignites them to create a
transformational enterprise for themselves and for society.

The program started in October 2013, with 27 participants, representing 11 different countries in an
event open to the public. The event aimed to give visibility to WIESD in the large community,

The program started then with the weekly webinars (41 webinars in total), bringing guest speakers
online, from several parts of the world, with varied subjects covering the three pillars of the program:
innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability.
During the year, there were also 5 different workshops which brought the participants together to
share their experiences, learn and enjoy the process of being together.
The program ended with other event open to the public, where they shared their journey, learnings,
businesses and the projects they created inside WIESD.
After this event, the group went to a spa hote
