WIESD Concept WIESD concept is structured in 3 modules, using a Spiral-up Concept, where each activity builds upon the previous one: Module 1 – INFORMATION: participants receive all the information needed to shape or re-shape their business idea(s). Module 2 – APPLICATION: having built an appropriate set of principles, tools and concepts, they develop projects, based on the application of their learning and insights to develop innovative business ideas. Module 3 - IMPLEMENTATION: they have access to ‘hands-on’ information (like capital access, possible types of company constitution, etc.) to create/grow a realistic and viable business plan that must be ready for implementation at the end of the program. Leadership Thread - Throughout the program, they experience a parallel journey supporting them to connect the "head and the heart" of leadership, business and personal-professional development in a way that ignites them to create a transformational enterprise for themselves and for society. Program Activities The program started in October 2013, with 27 participants, representing 11 different countries in an event open to the public. The event aimed to give visibility to WIESD in the large community, attracting media and potential new participants for future editions. The group also expended a weekend together in a very nice retreat center, called Mundekulla, where they built deep friendship and trust among themselves and the program directors. The program started then with the weekly webinars (41 webinars in total), bringing guest speakers online, from several parts of the world, with varied subjects covering the three pillars of the program: innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability. During the year, there were also 5 different workshops which brought the participants together to share their experiences, learn and enjoy the process of being together. The program ended with other event open to the public, where they shared their journey, learnings, businesses and the projects they created inside WIESD. After this event, the group went to a spa hote
