MORE THAN BASEBALL
Each summer Witter Field is host to 36 Rafters home games as well as games for Lincoln High School, Assumption High School, and the American Legion baseball prgrams. In addition to baseball, the ballpark provides a perfect venue to gather the community for other events during the summer and throughout the year.
The Rafters have partnered together with Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics for the 2017 season to add a new 275 square foot LED Video Board to the stadium. In addition to providing a new in-game entertainement feature for Rafters games, the video board will also allow usage for non-game day events. The first one of these events will be hosted at Witter Field in Friday, August 11 at 7 PM as Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics presents a FREE Community Night. The feature film will be Finding DOry. The Rafters and Aspirus invite you to bring your family and friends, a lawn chair or a blanket, and enjoy the featured film. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase during the movie as well.
In 2015 & 2016, the Rafters hosted Wisconsin Cheese Curdfest. Following the seasonthis year, on Saturday, September 9th, Witter Field will host the first ever Rushing Rapids Craft Beer Festival. The festival will take place from 2 PM - 6 PM and will feature between 25 and 30 breweries along with live music by the band HYDE. For adults 21 and older, a $40 ticket will include a 4 oz. sampling glass to keep, courtesy of Tenacious Badger Hops, along with unlimited samples during the festival time.
