Why Puerto Rico | 2018 Retail Market Report Luis Blanes Senior Vice President, Engineering Services (ES) Mr. Blanes is the Director of Operations for Engineering Services for JLL in Latin America. Leading a team composed of regional and national engineers in Puerto Rico, Brazil, Mexico, Central and South America, his responsibilities are to provide technical support, consulting services, due diligence, program management, and training, to our IFM business, as well as to lead the Mobile and Static Engineering lines of services for our different clients. His group is dedicated in developing, implementing, monitoring, and improving our engineering best practices in Critical Environment Management (CEM), ESS, Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), and the preventive maintenance practice. Mr. Blanes and his team are also the Quality Assurance auditors for the Region, and part of the transition team for all new clients in Latin America.  Victor Espino National Director, Corporate Solutions Mr. Espino is an Integrated Facility Management (IFM) Lead for Jones Lang LaSalle’s Corporate Solutions group currently overseeing financial and operating performance as well as providing support for the Accounts in the Northern Cone Countries (NCC). He has ten plus years of relevant experience including capital investment projects, strategic planning, and facilities management for retail and corporate portfolios. During this time, Mr. Espino has demonstrated broad technical skills that are an asset for the company and have included him in the group of Subject Matter Experts (SME) for IFM and Building Operations Management. Some of the responsibilities he excelled in are: critical environment management; critical equipment maintenance and energy management; reliability plan management and facilities assessment; facilities management; service desk coordination and process improvement.  Luis Torres Acosta Senior Vice President, Integrated Facility Management (IFM) As the leader of Jones Lang LaSalle’s IFM practice, Luis Torres-Acosta is part of the Executive Team responsible of the performance and quality assurance of projects and relations with customers through the development of solutions for the award of contracts and the implementation of services in addition to be in charge of the Commercial and Industrial Integrated Facility Management (IFM) for Puerto Rico and Latin America. His responsibilities at the regional level include the management of clients relationship, facilities and engineering activities including, but not limited to, Pharmaceuticals, BioPharma, Commercial, Call-Center and Medical Device in the USA, Caribbean, Mexico, Brazil and other countries of the North and South Cones.   19
