A turtle, with a snake’s head
and tail, came ashore. It
wrapped Kan with its tail and
took him inside the ocean. It
was dark, cold and wet. The
turtle sat Kan on top of it’s
shell and swam deeper into
the ocean. The water was
salty. The turtle swam north
towards the big dipper. Kan
could see the big dipper above
his head reflecting into the
ocean.
