not instruct them to pull straws. One
person was there first, knew more and
was given another; just as it was clear
God was Adam's leaders. God was
there "first", knew more and created
Adam to worship Him. And just
because Adam failed as a spiritual
leader in the Garden of Eden, God
NEVER changed His mind about
Adam's role. In fact, He made it even
more clear in Genesis 3:16 when He
states, "...and your desire shall be to
your husband, and he shall rule over
you."
What does happen is that the
spirituality that Adam had, did indeed
die as God promised. And from this
point onward in the, Old Testament,
owning a spiritual nature is no longer
available. Mankind became officially
depraved with a corrupt human nature
that would also expire in time on
earth. Nevertheless, the Lord changes
NOT! As we read through the Old
Testament, God shows this when He
begins to establish His Kingdom in the
earth realm through Moses and the
children of Israel, after making a
covenant with Abraham. When God
decided to establish His official
presence as King on earth, He selected
a people AND a leader. Moses was this
leader and Moses was not even living
with the people that would become
God's chosen people. God found
Moses. God gave Moses the
assignment to tell Pharaoh to let His
people go. God showed Moses His
power and ability by the burning bush
in the desert that were never
consumed, Moses' rod being turned
into a snake and then back into a rod
and Moses' hand becoming leprous
and then restored back to normal. God
made Moses the leader and as many of
us know Pharaoh did not just say,
"Sure Moses, take as many of this
invisible King's people as you like."
There were 10 dreadful plagues that
occurred THEN, God's people were
freed.
But let's take a moment to think about
what it means to be a spiritual leader.
1. THIS IS A BIG DEAL!!!
Today we minimize at best and
degrade at worst, spiritual leaders. We
say that they are a man/woman just
like us. Many despise them looking,
living and driving prosperously. They
are called pimps, scam artist, crooks
and worst. Why? Because there have
been some "spiritual leaders" that
have abused God's people and
resources. They have scammed,
stolen and done worst. However, this
is an office designed and established
by God, Himself and just like we don't
