Chapter Six
Lies vs Truth
When you know who you are, you will stop believing the enemies lies. You will hear truth
and… “the truth will set you free”.
When thoughts of destruction come at you. Thoughts like… “You are hopeless. You are
useless. You’re not good enough. You’ll never measure up.”
Tell yourself the truth.
I am alive with Christ. (Ephesians 2:5)
I am a new creature in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
It is not I who live, but Christ lives in me. (Galatians 2:20)
I am greatly loved by God. (Romans 1:7; Ephesians 2:4; Colossians 3:12)
I can do all things through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:13)
I am God’s workmanship, created in Christ for good works. (Ephesians 2:10)
I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me. (Romans 8:37)
God sees us as perfect because He sees Jesus in us and not our imperfect selves. . Valuable.
Loved. It’s how we see ourselves that holds us back.
Knowing who you are, changes everything about you. It’s your cornerstone. It sets you free
from the lies and traps of Satan. It encourages you to keep moving in the direction of God’s
promises.
“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor
forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” –Deuteronomy 3:10
