Chapter Five Your Opponent In Ephesians 6:12 it is written. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” The devil knows your weaknesses. He knows your need for love. To feel accepted, to be chosen, to be seen, to feel that you have worth. To feel like you matter. He knows all the plans that God has for your life. And he also knows his own fate. He has one objective. “To steal, kill and destroy”. He knows that if he steals your identity, confuse you through idolatry, struggles and tribulations, that he will slowly be able to kill you and destroy every good gift which God has planned you. He knows that if he blinds you, he can steal your inheritance. He crushes your heart. He breaks your spirit and always try to steal your dreams. So how can you overcome him and fight him off? Well, it’s a new day. Jesus has stepped in and placed you under new Management. He came so that we can “have life and have it abundantly”. Jesus never promised that your life will be without troubles, pain or tribulations, but He promised to always be there for you. To walk with you. To walk you through whatever you might face. Now we have to equip ourselves for the battle and pray for holy vindication.
