Who cares STEM
Who am I?
I became the world’s first professional woman astronomer. The
catalogue of nebulae I produced brought me the British Royal
Astronomical Society’s 1828 Gold Medal, the 1st awarded to a
woman. I personally discovered 5 comets, and rediscovered
Comet Encke.
