Links & hotspots
Links embedded in your email newsletter can engage audiences and drive more traffic to your website. Structure links and hotspots properly throughout your content. The most important ones should be placed near the top where they’ll be clicked on more often.
Link content to other channels you’re using, not just email. If you’ve created a separate landing page for an offer mentioned in your newsletter, connect it to a search engine so people can find it easily.
Add hotspots to your newsletter and link them to external websites (or better yet, your website) where people can find more information about your business.
Tip: above all, links and hotspots should save people time as they read through your email. Keep that in mind when designing your newsletter.
