Birdies for the Brave
Once again this year, I would like to enlist
your assistance in supporting the brave
men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces
by participating in our Birdies for the Brave
event on Sunday, November 10.
If you were able to participate last year, you were certainly affected
by meeting these incredible soldiers and their wives. Not only were
our members and guests able to play golf with these tremendous
individuals, but they have become pen pals and lifelong friends.
Birdies for the Brave, a program of the Department of Defense,
underscores Sequoia Golf’s long standing commitment to giving
back, and it benefits six outstanding non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting U.S. troops and their families.

This year, we are hosting a golf tournament at White Columns
Country Club in which threesomes will compete with the assistance
of Wounded Warriors or active military personnel. Just like last year,
the event promises to be a life changing experience.
Thank you very much for your consideration of this important
fundraising program. Together, we can help make a difference in the
lives of U.S. troops who selflessly put their lives on the line every day
so that all Americans may enjoy the privileges of freedom. For those
that do not wish to play in the golf tournament, your sponsorships or
donations are readily accepted and appreciated. Please contact
the White Columns Golf Shop at (678) 893-7516 or Allen Jones at
(770) 406-4977 for further information.
