Introducing Chef David Guilford
at White Columns
Dear Members,
I am very excited to be a part of the Sequoia family here at White
Columns. I am a single dad; my 16 year old daughter and 10 year old
son and I are very excited about his opportunity.
I worked at Atlanta National Golf Club for 7 years as the Regional
Chef for White Columns and Polo before leaving and trying my hand
with colleges for Café Bon Appetit Management.
Before moving to Atlanta in 2005, I worked for Wayne Huizenga at
Grande Oaks Golf Club in Davie, Florida as the Executive Chef. Here
I had a satisfying tenure creating enjoyable and exciting menus and
meals for our Members. In addition I have also owned restaurants in
the White Mountains of New Hampshire prior to moving to the South.
I plan to create menus and a team that will give a dining experience
the Members deserve. I am looking forward to bringing my culinary
experience to you and encourage everyone to share with me your
feedback on what you like. I will always try to accommodate any
special requests and/or diet requirements I can.
I would like to thank the staff and Members I have met recently and
for making me feel welcome. I look forward to meeting you in the
