Greetings Phamily,

Happy New Year to all. This year I call on all of us to continue to advance
and grow as well as focus on quality and not quantity. We are responsible
for ourselves, each other and remaining the LGBTQ first Phamily, which
everyone looks up to. We must understand that our potential adversaries
see us as their competitor and we must never surpass the bond we have for
each other.

The year I want US to focus on US. Making US better and stronger. We tend
to get complacent and forget about ourselves and focus on recruitment and
intake. Yes, recruitment is very important however having a strong bond
within each other and between the organizations is more essential than
anything. WE all have a piece of the puzzle and if one piece is missing then
we cannot be complete. We all complete each other in one way or another.

In order to strengthen our bond, we need to improve on a few areas. The
main one is respect for each other and understanding each other’s space
and opinion. We all have a voice and one members’ opinion is not more
important than the others. This brings me to my second area of improving
which is bringing up issues or problems without solutions, which equals
words without action. If you have suggestions or solutions, please contact
me via email. The last is communication within and between the
organizations. The more we communicate with each other and keep the
chain of command informed the more successful we will be as a PHAMILY.

Since Konclave, life has already been challenging for us. If it has taught or
showed us anything, it should be that life is short and can be taken away at
any time. My condolences go out to all the family, friends and organizations
that have lost a member. We are Phamily. Reach out and speak up. You all
are doing great things. Let’s level up and continue to be the Great First
Phamily that we are.
