Becoming Nothing
By: Adie Goodyear
Screaming, Laughing, Playing
Games and Communicating
Everything used to be without worry
But now the worlds becoming blurry
Eyes are down, Phones are up
Mothers not caring about their childs cut
Parks were filled to the max
With nothing but childish acts
Sounds of creaking swings
Parents played without needing things
Electronics have taken our world
Killing our brains in a whirl
Nobody talking, not a spoken word
Nothing is moving, not even a bird
The worlds become cold
People turning to stone
Becoming frozen status
With no one to hold
Put down your cell phone
Look at the world
Meet some new people
Go explore the globe
Electronics do not run our life
Put down the plastic
Step into the light
