Spring Whippet Tales Page 17 Light and Sound Jobs at SHS Interested in design? Enjoy Theater? Love Technical work? Looks like you are in luck! The Shelby High School Performing Arts Center (PAC) is looking for individuals to fill positions in sound and lighting. Anyone in grades 9-12 is allowed to fill these positions. The job for sound includes setting up speakers, hanging mics, putting up microphones, and running the Yamaha LS-9 soundboard. For the lighting job, you will get to create lighting shows for any event in the PAC. Also, you will have jobs like hanging up stage lights, maintenance (changing light bulbs), putting in gels (making the lights different colors), and running the ETC Element Lighting board (pictured above).
