It is for local artist Scott Sueme, who finds inspi- ration in methods of cat- aloguing and study. He describes the process as “homework,” which also, incidentally, is the title of his exhibit at Kimoto Gallery (to Jun. 9; page 48). That doesn’t mean Sueme’s vibrant pieces are all work and no play: shape and colour interact brightly with one another, recalling elements of 20th-century design and modernism.
