For this 32nd annual film fest,
the National Gallery of Canada
will serve as the new home for
some of the best cinema coming
out of the the European Union.
Drama and comedy intertwine
throughout the 20-plus feature
films that are shown in their
original language with English
subtitles. In celebrating the cul-
tural and educational worth of
short and long films from aroud
the world, the Canadian Film
Institute hosts the three-week
long festival.

This popular event pays homage
to the food that chefs, bakers,
and makers are currently cook-
ing up. The delectable showcase
offers a glamorous atmosphere
to match its sophisticated ar-
ray of delights. This year will
include offerings from over 70
vineyards, a six-foot chocolate
fountain, and the return of maî-
tre fromager Afrim Pristine. If
it’s drinks you’re craving, you’ll
be satiated by a wealth of wine,
beer, cider, and spirits.
