SPRING ? IS THAT YOU ?
As I pen this note , it ’ s + 7 ° C and the sun is shining — spring is in the air — but , as true Edmontonians know , by tomorrow it could be -30 ° C and snowing . Spring is sometimes an elusive season in Edmonton , but at least it keeps things interesting !
No matter the weather , there is always something amazing to do in our city . This is my last issue of WHERE Edmonton Magazine as Editor ( congratulations to Matthew Stepanic who will be taking over the role !) and it happens to be one of my favourite issues . March and April are full of events supporting and celebrating our city ’ s artists — Western Canada Fashion Week ( pg 10 ), the Spring Gallery Walk ( pg 13 ), and the Edmonton Poetry Festival ( pg 11 ) just to name a few .
