SILVER SKATE
FESTIVAL
FEBRUARY 12 – 21 Rooted in
Dutch traditions, this 10-day winter
extravaganza combines sport (like the
kortebaan speed skating race) with
the arts and seasonal outdoor fun. For
the first time, this year’s festival will
also feature an acre-sized ice castle
crafted by hand using only icicles
and water that looks like a frozen
waterfall or glacier! Hawrelak Park;
