In most cases, parking is free on public streets after 6 pm Mon to Sat and all day Sun. Centre Street separates the east from the west, and the Bow River in the downtown area roughly divides north and south. Addresses in each quadrant are identified with the appropriate NE, NW, SE, SW designations. There are four possible locations, so knowing the quadrant is important.
