PHANTOM OF THE OPERA August 9 - 20 The 1986 classic tale of the doomed love triangle between Christina, Raoul, and the Phantom is retold in a spectacular new production featuring a new set and staging. This week-long festival ends with a parade showcasing over 125 entries that bring in a whopping 60,000 spectators. After the parade, head to Prince’s Island Park for live music, activities for children, a beer garden, and a marketplace. The weekly events include parties, concerts, and film screenings (page 36).
