Letter from the Editor fall 2017 Can you believe it is October? It hardly seems possible! I just returned from 16 days in France, where most of the days were cool and rainy. No complaints here; in France even the rain is lovely! What I loved most about my trip was the contrast between Paris and the countryside. Paris seemed fast paced, like my daily life tends to be, but in the countryside, the French have what I call “the gift of meandering”. I love the way they leisurely stroll through the cobblestone streets arm in arm. I also love the way they sit for hours over a crepe and an expresso, savoring their treats and their time together. I came home determined to slow down and embrace the moments more fully. Especially the fall that is now upon us. It is my favorite season, and passes so quickly! I confess I had the same goals last year after returning from 10 days in Italy, and after a few weeks fell back into my usual harried pace. http://whereartlivesinspire.blogspot.com/2016/09/shared-from-ceo-of- where-art-lives.html I’m going to try harder this time!! Life is meant to be savored. -Kimberly Conrad Editor-in-Chief Owner, Where ART Lives Gallery & Magazine
