“My name is Eli, short for Elizabeth. I grew up in Alaska and now live and paint in
Austin Texas.
My work tells stories of sharing, living together, working together, the sacredness of
food and the cycle of life and death. The scenes I paint are infused with romance and
humor while emphasizing the instinct, intuition and wisdom of nature.
Large brushes are used to apply thick, drippy and metallic oil paint. I love to add
spray paint, acrylic, paper, metal leaf, fabric, lace, ribbons, gemstones, sparkles,
shells, crushed glass, beads, sand, mica, fossils and pearls. I use large brushes to lay
down super thick paint and my messy drippy style is bright and metallic.
My favorite subjects to enjoy and celebrate are paws, cheeks, whiskers, horns, tusks
and claws.”
