Letter from the Editor
summer 2017
Happy Summer!
I’m writing this on June 30th and I cannot believe that tomorrow we will already
be in July of 2017!
My year so far has been packed, with travel and the arrival of my first
grandchild!
Inspiration is more plentiful than ever.
Carving out the time to paint however remains a challenge!
I’ve decided that’s okay for now.
There’s a time to hold myself accountable to a minimum number of hours in the
studio, but there’s also a time to allow the experiences of life to wash over me in
what I know from past experience becomes such a beautiful renewal of creative
energy in the long run.
My wish for you this summer is that you would take the time to experience all
that is beckoning you unreservedly.
