AZT in a Day is an October tradition that engages the public to hike, bike, ride, or run the entire length of the Arizona Trail (AZT) from Mexico to Utah in a single day.

This 800-mile challenge raises awareness and funds to fulfill the Arizona Trail Association's mission to protect, maintain, enhance, promote and sustain the Arizona Trail as a unique encounter with the land.

Funds help support trail construction and maintenance; youth programs that empower the next generation of stewards; Veteran Program; and TrailCAM wildlife monitoring program.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

*Explore the section options below by using the map or by scrolling through the spreadsheet. There are over 100 sections of trail to choose from. Overnight camping and vehicle requirements have been listed where applicable.

*Choose a section and register. You have the option to sign up for up to 5 sections and to register for your entire group (max group size = 10 people). Please pick a section where fewer people are registered so we can spread out and increase our chances of covering the whole trail! The Section List below will show you where we still need people. Sections are capped at 30 participants.

*Get ready to hike, run, ride and roll! Participants must be completely self-prepared and self-supported, so do your homework. Go here for answers to Frequently Asked Questions, or email [email protected] if you're curious about something.
