Over the past year, the Arizona Spinal Cord Injury Association has been spreading awareness and educating our community about Opioid Use Disorder (commonly known as OUD) within the disability community, especially the spinal cord injury community. We are dedicated to continuing awareness and educating on the current and ongoing opioid epidemic in the state of Arizona throughout 2021. This year, we will be focusing on our new campaign, "What's in Your Bottle?" This campaign will help our community understand what;s really in the pills and how they can negativity affect your quality of life. Though we understand opiates can be an effective way to get your chronic pain under control, that comes with serious risks. We are here to help you find ways to better manage your pain and educate you on ways take care of your chronic pain.
