Letter from Executive director

Message from the Executive Director, Shannon Carter

Welcome to the November edition of Wheel World News! I can't believe we are already in the second to last month of 2020. What a crazy year this has been so far. Everyone here at the AZSCIA is looking forward to what next year has to bring.

Our Spotlight Story this month is all about our Advanced Wheelchair Skills classes. These classes can be beneficial for newly injured individuals as well as people who have been using a wheelchair for years! You won't want to miss this opportunity, these classes are a hit every year!

In the 'Current Events' section, read about the virtual events we are hosting, including the 'Emergency Preparedness' Workshop and the Mindfulness Skills Course Classes taking place all through the month of November. Be sure to visit pages 5-6 for more details on all upcoming events. We hope to see you there, even if it's virtually! Over the past year, we have been spreading awareness,
