Miracle League of Arizona Resource Fair

The Miracle League of Arizona is hosting a resource fair that is FREE to the public! Vendors from the special needs community will be here to share important information on the various things they provide throughout the community. This fair will take place on Saturday, January 26th, 2019 from 9am-2:30pm. We hope to see you there!
Advanced Wheelchair Skills Clinic
1/2 Day Conference

Shorter hospital and rehabilitation stays may not allow enough time to learn important wheelchair skills, so we are offering this half day conference to PT/OT students to help you better understand the importance of proper wheelchair use and learn skills you can then pass on to your clients/patients.
In the past we have taught these skills classes to the general public. With the success of the classes for the wheelchair user, caregivers and family members, there have been a greater number of college students attending as well. So with the student in mind, we are presenting this special half day session for you! This program will cover the following needed skills for instruction of your future clients.
Being able to share this information with your clients/patients will help them with their recovery or teach them some new skills to help prevent secondary conditions or isolation by helping be more efficient in the use of their wheelchair. Come and join us for some practical advice from those who are living it and doing it every day.
