Hey everyone! My name is Dean and I’m the Senior Service Advisor at 3A Automotive & Diesel in Phoenix. I’ll be writing a monthly column about automotive maintenance & repair. My goal here is to help you drive a safe & reliable vehicle that will last you many years while minimizing your “out-of-pocket” expense.
Regardless of the type of vehicle you drive, they all need to be properly maintained in order for them to last. For those of you driving vehicles with adaptive driving devices, such as hand controls and/or ramps, maintaining these vehicles is even more vital since they are expensive and inconvenient to replace.
Each month I will discuss one main Automotive Service. For example, the importance of having your oil changed on a regular basis. What kinds of oil should you use? The advantage of having your oil changed by a professional automotive technician VS the 5-minute lube chain store around the corner. How you might be eligible for an engine protection plan when you choose to get a “Premier Oil Change” and carry this protection plan for as long as you own the vehicle if you follow the maintenance schedule that I can plan out for your vehicle.

In all my years of being an advisor, the main reason people wanted to get rid of their vehicle was because they developed problems due to neglect and the manufacturers warranty had expired long ago. In most cases I can help reverse the neglect and provide a protection plan just by performing the service! It may sound too good to be true, but look out for Augusts column on the “Premier Oil Change”.
