Welcome to the December edition of Wheel World News. It's finally the holiday season! Though this is a busy time of year for everyone, be sure you stay involved in the events going on in December. Inside this newsletter, you will find some great ways to participate. On page 2, you will find our Spotlight Story: New Things to Come in 2017. AZSCIA has been working hard to plan more adaptive outreach events and also planning more educational classes for the SCI community. Let's make 2017 a great year! Since it's the holiday season, we will not be holding a Living Healthy with SCI this month. We will be holding a class January 24th, 2017; "Eating to Thrive Not Just Survive" with Steve Norton. You don't want to miss out on this class. We hope you'll join us!
I would like to thank everyone who joined AZSCIA in the Tempe Fantasy of Light Parade this year. This was without a doubt our best year yet! To read more about the parade and to see pictures, check out page 3. If you were not able to join us this year, be sure to join us in 2017. It's a great kickoff to the holiday season.
