If
your
dad
is
coming
down
to
Pullman
and
wants
to
get
away
for
a
while,
Pullman
has
the
perfect
event
for
him.
On
October
11th
at
5p.m,
in
the
CUB
Senior
Ballroom,
it
is
the
12th
Annual
Dad’s
Weekend
Cultural
Exhibition
Laua.
This
will
give
any
college
student
a
break
from
their
typical
diet
and
experience
Pacific
Islander
food.
While
enjoying
your
ethnic
food
there
would
be
plenty
of
entertainment
occurring
including
native
dances.
One
event
I
wouldn’t
want
to
miss
would
be
the
performance
by
The
Solstice
Wind
Quintet.
This
is
an
elite
group
of
musicians
who
travel
the
Great
Northwest
with
the
goal
of
sharing
their
gifts
for
all
to
hear.
This
is
not
just
a
make
shift
band
that
comes
together
for
a
“jamfest.”
These
individuals
all
have
professional
musician
experience
in
major
city
orchestras.
Along
with
their
burning
desire
of
music,
all
of
these
individuals
play
a
part
in
students
education,
as
they
are
all
part
of
the
WSU
faculty.
The
best
thing
about
this
event
is
with
a
student
ID
card,
the
event
is
free.
Another
exciting
event
that
is
occurring
this
week
for
the
music
lovers
is
Vocal
Extravaganza.
This
dad’s
weekend
activity
occurs
on
October
11,
at
7
p.m.
admission
will
cost
$10
for
dads
and
$5
your
student
ID
card.
Vocal
Extravaganza
will
use
the
wonderful
acoustic
effects
of
Bryan
Hall
Theatre
to
enhance
