For the family, a visit to the Riverfront Park and Mobius Science Center will give entertainment and educational experiences. The Riverfront Park is located in the heart of Downtown Spokane. It occupies 100 acres of land, providing year-round attractions including an IMAX Theatre, carrousel, a sky-ride down the Spokane falls, a Pavilion Amusement rides, Pony rides, and a Tour Train. Visitors can explore the Spokane falls, Riverfront Rotary Fountain, Red Wagon, Clock tower, Garbage Goat, Points of Interest, Sculpture Walk, and Centennial Trail for free. Tickets are available for the IMAX Theatre, Spokane Falls SkyRide, Looff Carrousel & Gift Shop, Pavilion Amusement Rides, Tour Train, Enchanted Forest Mini Golf, and Pony Rides. The Mobius Science Center is also a good attraction for families to check out. It is located across the River Park Square Mall. The rates are $10 for adults, $8 for 18 years and under, and free for 3 years and under. The center is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am till 6pm and till 5pm for Sundays. This center houses 65 hands-on, interactive science and technology exhibits for children and adults to enjoy. It is also a plus that right across the center is the Riverfront Park Square Mall for shoppers to explore. If one seeks adventure, Cat Tales Zoological Zoo and Wonders of the World are the places to go to. The local zoo showcases lions, tigers, and other kinds of cats. Rates are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and students, and $5 for 12years and under. The zoo is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm. “Wonders of the World” is a shop that sells rare and unusual items from all over the world.
