Every moment together counts. Here, our Etikans share about their family
moments, and how they make most of family time with their loved ones.
One of my best moments with my family is
our home prayer time. It creates a lot of
positive vibes and happiness. We would
usually invite our relatives and friends to join
us for the prayer. It is nice to have our loved
ones gather and celebrate the moment
together as a family. A happy family
environment is important for a person to
think positively and be more focused. I could
make decision better and discuss with my
family on things that matter. I always remind
myself to smile and be happy always to
reduce negativity, increase productivity and
enhance understanding among us. So, don't
worry, be happy!

During the school holidays, my daughter came
and visited me as she lives in a different part of
the city in Jakarta. On the first day of her
school holiday, I brought her to the outdoor
amusement park at Bintaro Xchange Mall.
There’s roller coaster, the Bazooka, Drop Zone
Tower at Funworld Bintaro, the Carousel spin
and some educational games. It was my
daughter’s first visit to the place. I felt happy
seeing her play happily with the other children.
She particularly enjoyed iceskating and got so
excited about it. We spent really good time at
the park and had dinner together. On the
second day, I took her to the Botanical Garden
in Bogor. We both enjoyed the fresh air while
adoring the beauty of the natural jungle. Along
the trail, we stopped by to have our lunch at
Hoka-Hoka Bento in the area. It was a beautiful
moment I had with my daughter.

On most weekends, my family moments will find us
outdoors. Spending most days indoors during the week
at work, we try to get out to nature as much as we can.
And with limited internet connection, this forces us to
connect face to face with the reality and really be
present. Plus, we get some good exercise in between.
