Etikans Say
Good day Etikans! July is my birthday
month. It’s time to reflect the past 6
months of my life and what’s going to
come my path in another 6 months
ahead. Nevertheless, I always remind
myself that I should live a life without
expectations. That has been my life
motto. I keep myself stress free, stay
humble and never hold grudges. I
keep myself fit by playing badminton
twice a week and that keeps my mind
sharp.
Being employed in Etika for 15 years
now has given me the opportunity to
putting my two children through
university, own a decent house and an
affordable new car. That is a great
achievement for me till this day.
This month, we will be having our
very first Town Hall meeting in our
Myanmar office. In addition, we
will also run our monthly regular
activities such as birthday
celebrations of the month as well
as a welcome party and
orientation for the new
employees.

Since the new
machine has already
been installed and
the commissioning
work has also been
completed, I hope
that the whole team
would learn about
the new system in
place to develop
their technical
knowledge and to
boost the overall equipment
effectiveness (OEE) results without
major quality issues. I look forward to
review my progress
for the past 6
months and to be a
better me for the
next quarter’s target
of 2018. A new
month, new
beginning, new
mindset, new focus,
new result, new
blessing. May this
July be a fruitful
month to everyone
of us! Still in the spirit of the blissful moon
of Ramadan, let me convey the words
of Minal Aidzin Wal Faidzin and wish
that you have had a joyful Hari Raya.
Particularly for Quarter 3, I strongly
believe that our sales will fly high.
Don’t watch the clock, do what it
does and keep going!
