Flavours of Zakopane
The Gorale are a group of indigenous
people found along southern Poland. They
make a characteristic lively music. They
have a traditional colorful costume. Men
wear white linen shirts, woolen trousers,
leather shoes and a decorated hats.
Women wear white blouses and flowery
dresses.
The most characteristic dish of this town
is soup called kwa?nica. It is prepared
based on cabbage. Traditional product of
Zakopane is oscypek- a delicious
smooked cheese made of sheep milk.
