Birdsville is a long way
from just about anywhere
you can think of. It is also
very famous as the home to
the Birdsville Races, but
that is not the only time you
can go there. Birdsville is
home to lots of people too.
When it comes time to
make the trip to there, the
Birdsville Caravan Park is
waiting to see you. They are
on the banks of a Billabong,
and have plenty of powered
sites – 52 to be exact, and

just about unlimited camp
sites. If you want a cabin
there are three with ensuite and nine standard.
With a café on site, you
don’t have to go into town.
But what would a trip to
Birdsville be without calling
into the Birdsville Hotel. Or
maybe getting a pie from
the bakery. Make the most

enjoy the billabong.
