Summer views
at their best!
The Great Ocean Road
Some roads are just roads,
some are great roads, but
this is one of GREATEST! In
fact this is 243 kms of great
road, starting in Anglesea
and ending in Allansford. For
most of its length it hugs the
coastline, giving some
spectacular views.
And how many roads do you
know that are on the
Australia Heritage List
– well this one it.

Between Torquay and
Cape Otway it is also
called the Surf Coast, with
the famous Bells Beach
near Torquay.
From west of Cape Otway it
is the Shipwreck Coast for
very obvious reasons!
There are plenty of
lighthouses in this area,
with the Split Point
Lighthouse in Airey’s Inlet
probably the best know.
Racing bikes reign in
January 2016 with the Cadel
Evans Great Ocean Road
Race and the Momentum
Energy Peoples ride.
