Special Interest Groups/Organizations A t Believe Foundation we work to make that happen, through holistic community outreach events and programs to meet the needs of the whole person. We can meet academic, physical , emotional, and social needs, but to neglect spiritual needs is to fall short. OUR MISSION E mphasizing the universal appeal of the entertainment industry, we seek to inspire inner-city youth to become the artists and audiences of the future. In addition to after school performing arts workshops, television productions and music workshops, Believe Foundation has just partnered with Institute for Maximum Human Potential. This partnership will be the guiding force behind the creation of the Los Angeles School of Arts and Entertainment, a performing arts school slated to open in 2014. W e have to give them a reason to believe. When Gregory Smith the founder, reaches the hearts of troubled young people, real change begins. Broken spirits are restored, making way for hope, which can inspire an entire family. When families' change, something even bigger happens, neighborhoods change and W e're providing options for those who have few or no options. To believe in themselves is all we ask. It's a simple philosophy. Start kids off the right path and they will lead us to greatness. Believe Foundation is changing at risk kids in Los Angeles one kid, one family and one block at a time - and it all starts with a child or a young person. We believe if we impact their lives early on by giving them options and hope for the future, they will become productive members of the community and have a positive, lasting impression on society. Before changes occur in a person’s life it must occur in a person's heart and they have to believe in themselves and their talents. 20 that kid starts to believe.
