NOTES FROM THE EDITOR
Continuing Our Quest to
should be no competition in a community that represents Michael
Jackson. It looks and smells bad. Old wine will not last in a new wine
skin. This magazine is not about Michael Jackson but because of
him. It is to recognize his fans who are making a beautiful difference
in this world; and especially those who are giving back to it. Those
fans whose love can be felt without having to see them; but through
their art, videos, blogs, vindication/advocacy efforts, humanitarian
efforts, music, etc. we can smell the sweet odor of love.
“Remove the Junk from the Community Trunk”
Well, we were not let down with the expected negative feedback.
The first issue of the magazine had not been published twenty-four
hours before we were accused of stealing a tag line from a magazine called “Iconic Magazine”. A gentleman we do not know has
taken the task of posting in French fan groups that we stole his tag
line “In a Word Filled With HATE - We Can Still DARE to LOVE”.
Actually, the tag line was taken from a quote by Michael Jackson.
Therefore, we added the word “Still” and “Love” and it belongs to
God who loaned it out to me for a greater purpose.
The "trunk" is the main stem of a tree, as
distinct from the branches and roots.
In the case of the Michael Jackson Fan Community, Michael is the main stem or the trunk of that
tree. The branches, which are the fans, rely upon
the source from the main stem. If we are relying
upon Michael everything we do will come from a place of love and
not hate, because Michael is the supplier of what we need to function properly in the community.
“In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with
anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must
still dare to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to
believe.”― Michael Jackson Quote
Again, our goal for this magazine is to bring the community together
in a state of love and respect. This magazine is being birth to connect with those who still believe in Michael Jackson’s message of
LOVE; and hopefully to bring those back who were ran off because
of the “Junk”. Does this tag line sound better? In fact, I think this tag
line is much closer to the truth.
The accusation and actual post: King OfShop Again Shame the
tag line was stolen fro Michael Jackson 'Iconic Magazine' released since 2010!
