Sponsorship – Butterfly Project — Frankie Woods McCullough Girls’ Academy, Gary, Indiana
B
ecause Vanessa was brave enough to confront
the issue we decided to extend our support to the
children in Gary, Indiana. We sent letters to the principals of six schools but received a response from only
one. We have been blessed in being able to support
what we call the “Butterfly Project”, Frankie Woods
McCullough Girls’ Academy, since March of 2012.
They have also relocated to a newly renovated building for the school term 2011 – 2012. The students
have maintained excellent academic goals throughout
the years and can you imagine how excited they were
to become recipients’ of donations from the Michael
Jackson Fan Community; to assist them in the purchase of new laptops, projectors and an interactive
white board. We have been able to send them three
large monetary donations since the inception of this
humanitarian project.
