Yungaburra Village Artists Annual Exhibition Wednesday April 26 – Sunday May 28. Opening Night 5:30pm -7:30pm, Friday May 5. The YVA are once again delighted to announce their annual exhibition at the Tablelands Regional Gallery. The group is fast becoming one of the best known and respected local groups in the Far North, and they are delighted to invite everyone to come along and experience their latest works. The collective is made up of many talented professionals and inspired amateurs, they will be presenting a wide variety of artistic creations across a range of media; oils, acrylics, watercolors, prints and pastel 2-D artworks. There will also be a stunning diversity of 3-D pieces in ceramics, mixed media and wood. The subjects are presented in exquisite realism and also dramatic abstract forms. The artists have a range of backgrounds and origins, from local locals, to various imports, all with Yungaburra as their chosen inspiration Come and experience some of the best art in our region, meet the artists on opening night, or pop in and enjoy the stunning work over the month long exhibition at Tableland Regional Gallery, Robert Street, Atherton. This play is the first big hit by the Brits’ celebrated playwright, harking back to the 1960s. This is a hilarious play based on mistaken identities and presented by the experienced and talented Atherton Performing Arts crew, directed by Lillian Field.
