by most Australians from the iconic Qantas television commercials, will be coming to Atherton on

the Sydney Olympics, the Melbourne Commonwealth Games, The Three Tenors Tour, André Rieu’s
Australian tour and Carols by Candlelight from the Myer Music Bowl for more than two decades.
The Choir also regularly performs with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Opera Australia.

Queensland Symphony Orchestra
The Queensland Symphony Orchestra is proud to visit Atherton to perform a program
of wonderful music including Vivaldi’s best known piece, the popular Four Seasons,
and other great works for string orchestra. In Vivaldi’s time, orchestras commonly
performed with a violinist directing instead of a conductor. The performance follows
this tradition with QSO’s concertmaster, Warwick Adeney leading the QSO Join us for
live classical music on a grand scale. The event of the season, this will be a must see
for music lovers of all ages.
Wednesday, October 5 from 6.30pm at Destiny Hall, Jubilee College, Loder St,
Atherton. Tickets are adult $25, members $15, school student $10. To book go online
