72 years of flowers! There's not many events that can boast the longevity of the Herberton Annual Flower Show. In it's 72nd year the show is set to once again dazzle the visual senses thanks to the efforts of the Herberton Garden Group. The doors open for public viewing on Saturday 1 September from 1-5pm and Sunday 2 September from 9am-1pm. SATURDAY 1.15pm – Official Opening 2pm – MAS Choir singing 3pm – Apron Parade (bring your apron old or new and model it for everyone to enjoy) Saturday 22 September SUNDAY 12 noon – Presentations ADMISSION: Adults $5 or $8 (2 days) Pensioners $2 or $3 (2 days) Children $0.50 Morning and afternoon tea available $5 Atherton Performing Arts (APA) in conjunction with Mount St Bernard College presents the "Let It All Out!" production on Saturday 15th September at 7.30pm and Sunday 16th September at 3pm at the APA Theatre, Silo Road Atherton. The production features two plays "Know Your Role" and "4AM" which are both reflective, looking inquisitively and creatively at issues that face young people. All are welcome. Cost: $10 adults and $5 for children. Tickets available at the door. Mums & Bubs Support Group for families with babies and infants A relaxed weekly support group where mums with new babies and infants can meet each other, share stories, experiences and enjoy a coffee. A Child Health Nurse is available for any questions and can offer help with all aspects of parenting, or just weigh and measure your baby.
