goddess- A powerful transition and the chance for women to stand in
living, loving, hurting, crying, laughing, forgiving, being strong, being
weak. Wife, Mother, Warrior. Physically it is the transformation of Kidney
Qi- in TCM the kidneys house the Jing Qi- the essential life force reservoir
of energy. They also govern the endocrine system and the movement ,
storage and distribution of fluids throughout the body. When women go
through menopause their Jing is transforming, & recalibrating to carry
them into the next phase of life, the hormonal shift is why most women
will suffer with hot flushing, anxiety, insomnia, heightened sensitivity and
other emotional and physical upsets. During the shift the Kidneys are
unable to anchor fluids like they once did. If you need help with hot
flushing or any other symptoms of menopause please come in and see
Laura - Chinese Medicine has some great formulas for significantly reducing hot flushing and balancing and supporting your
body, mind and soul during this fragile time.

Precious Poppy
Submitted by Ann of Tolga
Poppy is a really dear little dog
with a loving personality. She is quite timid
of other people but given time, will make friends with
them. She is constantly at our side and is always ready for a
cuddle. Her favourite things are belly rubs, her dinner and going
for walks. She is nearly 5 years old now and seems
like she can almost read our minds. When we lost our
previous dog, we never imagined we could have another
beautiful companion like Poppy.

Internet Attacks – “IOT”
In the news they have been talking about internet attacks using “IoT” devices
in peoples houses. IOT stands for Internet Of Things and is any device that
connects via wifi or network cable that you have in your house. The ones that
are doing the attacking are things like baby monitors or security cameras,
even your washing machine or fridge if it is connected and that is because
there is usually very little to no security on these devices. The reason for this
is because the people that make them think if it is only on your network then
only you can access them, but in the real world things with no security get
hacked. To stop this the first thing you should do is change the username and
password on any device you get.
Normally a device will use something like admin for both so it’s easy for
someone to get in to the device and do anything they want with it.
